Esp failing then goin into SAFETY MODE??

Hey guys lately cars been showing esp failing and then it goes into safety mode?? has any1 else experienced this safety mode? It pretty much wont let u accelerate hard or even midly and the gear chages are realllly rough!! u can feeell it soo badly it hurts me inside when i felt this. This safety mode only happens after the esp fail shows up. I have not lowered my car only mods are headers and hi flow cats and CAI. Once u turn off the car and startit up again itz fine but once in a while the esp fails again and safety mode takes over. Any help would be appreciated!! if thers any other info u guys need just YELL OUT!

Im guessing something to do with the headers and cats? 02 sensors maybe?

umm i know by doing the headers and cats the engine light will come on n it has but the esp and safety mode i dun fink itz related to the exhaust but i could be wrong.
