Howzit all.
I have a 2005, well, Chevrolet Lumina in South Africa, a rebadged Commodore 5.7 V8.
The car has recently developed a knocking noise. At first i thought it might be the after market exhaust i fitted that is knocking, but had it checked out, and it's not that. I usually hear it when going over a speed bump, or uneven road surface. It sounds like it's more on the left hand side.
Any ideas?

Is it from the front or rear?
I'm not afraid.
It sounds more like the front to me.
Possibly worn suspension bushes, sway bar mounts etc.
Or a dodgy strut.
Off to a suspension specialist you go.
I'm not afraid.
Yea, good luck finding a specialist in South Africa![]()

Had it at a specialist. They showed me the torn bush. I'm looking for a workshop manual download so i can see what it's gonna take to do the job myself. I'm a bit machanically challenged![]()
