Want to buy a K&N air filter for my VZ V6 175
How much do I expect to pay and were is the best place to purchase ?

super cheap on sale bout 60 or go an air hog i think there the same and thats 30 on sale normally have a look at super cheap m8 they seem to have specials all the time

I picked mine up for $70 at supercheap about 12 months ago and a can of K&N air filter oil was $15

Mine was $110 at supercheap this month. Screwed on price but got bored and fixed my CAI.

Ebay can get roughly $90, Autobarn $120 (15% discount if you buy oil and oil filter at the same time I believe)

I went to supercheap at Glendale this morning only to be told they dont make k&N air filters for VZ V6 commodore but VY will fit we will have to order you one and its going to cost $172.00
I told them no thanks
Not paying that for an air filter

Does the vz v6 175 2005 uses part No. a1358?

VY and VZ use the same part numbered K&N Filter - 33-2116. That number was for GRIPX but if its fits VY like it said it did, it should fit a VZ

its the gen3 filters that fit the vz alloytec airbox.

But did you do the maths? And if you buy a couple, one for you and another couple for your mates, or sell them on flea bay, then the extras are only USD$6 extra each. Bargain!
