hi quick question
where is the fuel pump in a VZ alloytec sedan?
if it is in the fuel tank can it be accessed without taking the tank out? if so how/where?
cheers
EDIT: ok have found out it is in the fuel tank, is there an easy way to test if it is working without pulling the tank out?

Are you having fuel supply problems - why do you need to check the fuel pump?
If it is playing up, a lesson I learnt from an NRMA tech who came to get my VR going years ago was to belt the bottom of the fuel tank with a lump of timber. It shocks the pump into working but is only a stop gap. Once the pump starts to play up, it should be replaced. According to the manual, fuel pump replacement required tank removal but if it's anything like the VR, it can be removed without disturbing the tank.
tank out, pretty easy to get out, just try and run it low on fuel first, as it can get a bit fumbly by youself
