Opened it with a little too much elbow :P
Snapped both hinges right off!
Anyone know where i can buy a replacement?

Yeah not sure how you break a VZ glovebox?? All I can think of in the actual base hinges, and you'd have to be giving it a real good pounding to do that. The 2 side clips are rubber, and aside from being flexible (therefore not prone to breaking) they are, as Calaber mentions, replicable.

My mate broke his in his vz, someone ran up his ass and im the heat of the moment he slammed his glove box after getting something out and snapped it hahaha. Ebay maybe or wreckers. Rare Spares prob wont have them, hence being called rare spares.

Very common fault with VY's and VZ's. A modified lid was introduced to address this problem during VY production but it obviously didn't do the trick. I don't think there is anything you can do if the mis-fit is really noticeable. You can adjust the glove box catch to pull the lid further into the dash - that might help.anyone know to make their glovebox sit flush up againt the dash mines got a slight slant towards the passenger door

hmm i got my glovebox replaced under warrenty, fixed mine, it was replaced to, cause i had to go back and get the lock installed in it cause they forgot to put it in

holden sell them for cheap, its not the whole glove box you need just the back part, it comes in two seperate peices help together by about 6 screws, i did the same thing myself and got it for bout 30 if i remember, brand new
