GTR: its not boosted now, but the kit will be going on probably next week
they do seem a bit bright in the pic, prob cause of camera phone, they are a lot better on the eyes IRL.

    Hannibal:
You can find the gauge pod on ebay, i got mine from autobarn tho.
    They are about 90 bucks.
Bit of messing around it get it in tho, not a straight clip in like i was hoping.
Gotta drill holes and screw it down (meh)

Paulsv6: The hsv pods will not fit because of the different dash setup with climate control.
But that being said a company called "Commodore Stereo Solutions" on ebay make a high quality
replica of this pod that fits vy/vz non climate control. Hefty price tag tho $200.

    Impulsive: Raptor kit.

Gdunkley: I am going to hang on to it, like to keep my stock parts for whatever reason.
Holden sell them and they are quite cheap. Ring your local dealer and ask.
Cost be $24 plus $3 for clips when i tried to make a custom fibreglass monitor pod. (epic fail) lol

barracuda: yes, autobarn, $90. I like how they look but i still think i would prefer the HSV style pod, much more "stock" looking which is what i am after. Like i said earlier tho, the holden part will not fit in an sv6.
    Ebay - HSV Style - $213.50
    Ebay - SS Inductions Pod - $78

The gauges cost $380 delivered from modyourcar.com.au

Do you think you could do a post on how to install gauges? I have a water temp and oil pressure at home and im clueless where to put the wires. Would love if you could do one and just show me how you set up your 2 even though they are different to mine.

    Baracuda, Kal123, Marlon.

The wiring is very simple, most gauges will have 3 connections to make: Illumination, Ground & Signal.

    Signal:
Boost gauge: This is a small white pressure tube that leads into the engine bay thru the loom grommet, and is T-pieced into a manifold vacuum tube.
Voltmeter: Just tap into any accessory wire, i find the best is the cig lighter/pwr socket.

Ground: This is easy, screw into any good metal conducting surface or tap into an existing ground which will ensure it will be getting a decent ground.

Illumination: As with the ground, the easiest way is to tap into a illumination wire somewhere in your dash/console. Easiest way to find this is use a multimeter and turn the lights on/off to test the plug pin outs on the back of any of your illuminated controls.

It also depends on if the gauges are Electrical or Mechanical? If they are electrical they will need the sender unit that goes with the gauge, if they are mechanical, they will have a tube that runs from the gauge to the other end of whatever your trying to measure.

Paul: Yes this is true, i should have clarified, VZ HSV pods will not fit VZ non climate control.
However the VY pods will fit. This being said they are very different looking as shown below.
Personally i am not to keen on the VY pod.
