Replacing oil switch (ebay one) and replacing cup holders???

Couple of quick questions please:

I need to replace one of my flip cup holders in my Caprice (already bought one off ebay) but to actually get the old one out and the new one in, do I have to get most of the console and dash off (basically what is described in this image below)? Or is there a much easier way I'm missing?




And secondly, I need to replace my oil pressure switch (LS1) and see there are plently on ebay for about $88+ or I can get ones from Coventrys here in Perth for about $130. I'm not really worried about the price difference but the ebay ones are easier for me to get.

Has anyone had any issues with the ones on ebay? Should I steer clear or are they (likely) to be the same ones as Coventrys/AMCAP anyway?

Replacing the cup holder will definitely require removal of the centre dash panel.

Someone else can help with your oil switch question - I run a V6.
