Default VZ V8 SS Cluster Into V6 Executive

    Hi Guys,

I brought off ebay a V8 SS Red Cluster for my VZ V6 Exectuive I put it in and everything works fine but the fuel guage it seems to want to very slowly move up and down but it's not giving a false reading when the needle goes up to a cirten point.

Now I want to know if this is just a faulty gauge or does it need to be re-programed by Holden and which Holden dealer in Melbourne can do this and how much.

Sample image of what I brought.

VR Executive Sedan 1993, White, 15" Aftermarket SS Rims, Sony MP3 Deck. (Currently Being Restored) My Ride Link

usually u get a tech 2 to put them in as the calibrate it to ur car and can change ur km to match ur old cluster (if cluster is under 100000k)

if you're referring to the pic, its a standard steering wheel in that car, with a VZ dash put into it. Also, yes its illegal to replace an airbag wheel, with a non-airbag wheel.
