Hey mate, as for my car, i bought 2x packets of twin neons, and i cut off the cig plug in piece and wired it into the cig power source and attatched a switch in the pos side of the wire to be able to have on or off w/e i want and ran both packets off the same point (cig power) and just glued the rear ones under the back seats and ran the wiring under the centre consol, hope that can help out a bit mate.

I think phreddy is doing front and back footwells now check out his chapter
well as i said i snipped of the cig plug for each set of neons and intertwined both pos wires together and both neg wires together and then just spliced into the cig lighter and taped it up (like professionally btw) and the earth was the cig lighter for both so yea..
dave, just get some figure 8 wire and wire the rears into the fronts
yeah i have got them all wired together, but it turns out i must have a bad earth as they all went dull.. shit happens i will look at them again tommorow..

how have you got them wired, they will go dull if they are in series...
Hey guys soz to dig up a thread.. Pretty newbie with this stuff, Whats the go with 'splicing', is that just wiring half the wire to the neons, and half the wire to the ciggie? Also looking at replacing the boot light with a neon, would that just simply be a case of unclip the bootlight and extend pos and neg to the neons?
Thanks guys,
use a 3 way switch so you can select white or neon light... if you going to join two wires, get the connectors from Supercheap and use a soldering iron and the heat shrink tubing..
if you are a not really electrically/mechanically minded i would get someone to help you whilst your doing it.. BUT i tapped into the glove box light, heard of people tapping into the fuse box and other areas that have been powered.
Make sure you use a switch when you do it and try and connect to the accessories power so if you leave the lights on by accident they will cut out when the power does
hope it works out for you
