    Default Supercat exhaust

    Hey guys,

    I'm after a catback to compliment my pacies and high flow cats. I got quoted $300 for a supercat twin 2 1/4. Che exhaust come in quite a bit more than that plus shipping...
    Anyone had experience with supercat?

    Cheers mat

    Super Cat, X Force, Redback, all about the same quality. At the end of the day it's a cheaper system, but it has the same 2 year warranty. The only problem that I have had with them is they can get quite hot at the "kiss pipe" section.

    Thanks for the comments guys. The big question for me is it decent in terms of flow/power?

    On a V6, no. The best system I have seen so far on an alloytec is the twin 2 1/4" into a single 3". Pretty quiet but it improves torque right across the range.

    I can vouch for that.
    I have Pacemakers->Magnaflo Metallic Cats->Twin 2&1/4" with Xflo -> 3" pipe -> single muffler -> twin 3" chrome dumps

    It would want to be thats a bit of coin! I've spent enough on the car, and a Commodore doesn't exactly appreciate in value After best bang for buck.

    Well obviously that's not the case. By best bang for buck I mean I'm willing to accept middle of the range if it means sacrificing a kw or 2.

    The system from cats back would be $490 shipped.

    Or with extractors and hi flow cats $1700 all up.

    Jaisvz, did your system eliminate 2 O2 sensors? The Alloytecs have 4 sensors, some aftermarket cat sections only have the fittings for two sensors.

    I have done an SV6 that had 4. But the 175 may only have 2.
