    Hey Rodbol

What is wrong with your power steering? Is it frothing the oil and groaning heavily like my son's Acclaim?

As mentioed in a previous post,
    No frothing or strange noises.
Just strange steering feedback along with pronounced
    bump steer.
It's now a process of elimination to determine
what is the cause. Starting with the pump.

    Rod.
    I'm not afraid.

    Rod.

bump steer is mainly caused from larger wheels and different suspension setup, p/s dosnt really play much role in it, wider wheels and low air pressure will make the steering more vague.......

if the steer pump is on its way out id be looking for, shuddering, frothing, leaking and noisy

I remember the previous post. I'm with Candyman - if you don't have any of the typical P/S symptoms, it isn't likely to be the source of your steering probs.

Had the car at Pedders today.
They do recognize there is a steering issue.
However they don't know what it is.
They suggest it might be my suspension setup.
You can't expect much for $14 I suppose!
    I'm not afraid.

    (C)Andyman,
    King springs FE2 height,
    Monroe GT Sport gas shocks,
17x8 VZ SV6 wheels with Falken
    ZE329 235/45 tyres @ 31psi.
    Not dramatically modified.
Until recently had OEM 15in wheels on. Still had the
same problems although the bigger wheel and tyre combo
    does increase the steering issues.
Pedders claim the shocks on the front are too stiff.
However this problem predates the modified suspension.
The mods have just made my issues worse.
