Hey Guys,
I just picked up my first personal Holden today, VZ Crewman Cross 6.
I went and filled it up tonight with 40L of Fuel and it did not seem to register. the Fuel gauge sat just above the second red line (same place as it sat all day) and the onboard Dist to Go slowly moved to 70k from 40k. which doesn't seem right for 40L of fuel.
Anyway, What is this button and gauge here (Little black circle with 5 vertical lights), I cannot seem to find it in the manual anywhere, and it doesn't look common on all the images I have had a look at. The bottom light out of the 5 was flashing red, but then I filled up and it moved up 2 green lights, however, it quickly dropped to one. If I press the button the orange top light above the button turns on. But no idea what it is doing.
Cheers
Keiran

what am i looking at? all i see is a bit of your speedo an your odometer.
resize the pic, to something that doesnt need scrolling horizontally and vertically to see
do you have duel fuel? or full gas? o.0
According to all my paper work, it's just petrol.
I don't know about full gas. Reading the Manual, it said it can't be gas for those engines,.
Have you got a little red sticker on your number plate?
has it got a large tank in the tray?
That little round thing is your gas gauge. when you press the button and the light goes out you are on petrol.

No Red sticker, The Fuel cap state's "Unleaded Fuel Only"
There's no tank in the tray.
maybe there was gas in the car before and it was removed?
Its a LPG switch/guage. The car has or had lpg fitted. Either way there is still power to the switch. Take a pic of the engine bay and post it, you should be able to see if its got gas stuff in there or not.
on further inspection, Under the Fuel cap there are 2 hole, but I con't tell if they both go in to the same spot or not. and it doesn't look like you can screw anything onto it like a gas bowser. Also has a Mod plate on it for LMI (Don't think that's related though)
Question is though, Why is it not even reading the Fuel I put in it?
OK... So it turns out I have Dual Fuel tanks (both Petrol). That button when i press it pumps fuel into the primary tank if I filled the secondary.
however, I think it overfilled, the gauge went all the way to full and then I got Gauge Error. and the gauge just dropped straight down to empty. Any idea;s?
What'd they do to your car?

TJM? I have a feeling it is for the front nudge bar, either that or the dual Fuel tanks.
The fuel gage seems to be working again, went on a cruise today, and once the fuel had drop about 1/8 the gauge starterd working again.
