Side mouldings

Peoples,
Just removed the side mouldings from the exec.
I am now left with long strips of uethane glue
where the mouldings once were.
Has anybody had any experience removing this gunk?
I have tried, but it does not want to come off.
I seem to remember a post on this but I cant find it.
Any help?

Off memory it’s called a carmel wheel, can be sourced at paint and panel shops. Use with caution. Alternatively use a solvent like prepsol/wax and grease remover.

Its called sikaflex and yes a carmel wheel will get it off but if you have to use wax and grease remover you will be there for ages of a carmel wheel will be the go, but make sure you dont push to hard or it will burn the paint

I've tried a wax grease remover. But I don't want to spend
several weeks trying to remove the gunk. It does very little.
I will try a Caramel Wheel.

you have to get it pretty hot for it to come off so you might damage the paint

I use it at work to bond windows in the buses and we just use carmel wheels

I used a carmel wheel and a lot of elbow grease.

Gave my newly purchased Caramel Wheel a go.
I now realize it's going to take some time to remove
the black gunk.
Can anybody give me some advice on their technique
using the wheel.
Just want some input because i'm worried about ruining
the paint.
