Unhappy VZ Front Suspension

A week or so ago I noticed that when my car stopped from walking pace, the front wheels moved back about 25mm. When the brakes were released, the wheel immediately "jumped" forward about the same ammount. 5mm is about normal, so you can imagine my reaction when the wheels were moving an inch or more!

Apparently some of the rubbers are liquid filled and prone to leaking (According to the dealer). I had noticed that the car appeared a little looser on the road, so this should fix the issues I hope. It's going in on Tuesday to have the rubbers replaced - I'll see if I can get some pix of the old rubbers

22,000k's, but I noticed the probs at about 18,000 and have been waiting to see the boss of the service department to ask what was "Normal" for a few weeks. It's probably been getting a bit lose for the last 10,000 or so, so I guess thats when they began to fail.

if thats all you get out of them surely it has to be more cost effective to use just straight rubber or something ....

well i've done 14,000km's in my ute and i haven't noticed any difference in the handling etc ... time will tell.
