Alloytec Engine Covers Painted

Spent the last few hours painting my engine covers and other plastics Impulse blue to match my car, final paint went in and plastics went on, tell me what you think!

Looking the goods mate i like the sliver bits

I go to get around to doing mine in the marble effect red and black

looks great did my vs v6 cover metalic blue

yeah, would look awesome, i honestly thought you had already done them.. my next step will be to get some blue light in there somewhere and then might move onto the interior, possibly the dash or something

Dash is a piece of piss mate nice and effective mod to do

Maybe a Metallic blue with a peal through it???

Just finished a Photochop of my dream interior, possibly with the blue painted dash and ASR lights

The covers look really nice, what did you need to do to treat the covers before painting them?

i used a clear plastic adhesive primer from autobarn.. cost about $10

That's actually quite good, and I rarely say that about home-painted bits!

I also painted my throttle body black your would look good painted bacl aswell so the black flows down the motor

Another thought, if it were me I'd try highlighting the "Alloytec 190" writing in silver, the same shade as the other silver bits.

Just an idea.

looks sexy, still say you paint the air filter box tho oh and i no of some1 selling a raptor charger rather cheap aswell would look great on yours :P

you can get some masking tape on the catuion sticker use a razor blake and cut to size, then you can paint the raise bit of plastic aswell...

do the airbox too!!
