yo
how do i reset the service reminder?
before you say do a search i already have and couldnt find what i needed
its mode and the arrows or something similar
I read a thread asking the same thing just a couple hours ago, and it was in the new posts bit.. i think it may be in the VT-VX section, possibly
Couldn't find what you needed after a search????? How do you figure that. I just tried it myself to prove a point. I typed "reset service" in the search space at the top of page. And it came up with all the threads you need. This is what showed up;
http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...archid=1911220
Then I scrolled halfway down and found a thread called "Resetting Service Reset VZ"
Resetting Service Reset VZ
I don't mean to say the above with a tone in my words, but it isn't that hard. I understand at times that people may not type the correct words in the search, but this is a no brainer im sorry.
Even typing many variables like "reset service reminder" or "service reset", these all come up with many threads including the exact one that answers your question.
how about you stop being a bunch on whingers and just answer the question
Good first impressions mate. Must be school holidays again?
They were actually answering the question, and it's alot easier and quicker for YOU to search and find this easily available info yourself.
It's very anoying when this thread appears every week...
Are you for real??
I actually gave the answer via a direct link (how much easier can you get), plus I also hopefully gave an insight on how to use the search function and gave another link for you to click on (again, an answer plus more info).
So to sum it all up 'murph_1989', I think I went far and beyond what answer you wanted, and hopefully saved you some time in the future.
If you are upset with me trying to help people who sometimes do not know how to help themselves correctly initially.....then shoot me now (bang)....otherwise, sit back and enjoy the ride on here and keep an open mind and when you read an informative post, take the information onboard without the attitude.
The Blue One
leave him alone. If people never asked questions their wouldn't be a forum.
People here fall over themselves to be helpful and answer questions to assist members of this forum. Please peruse the various sections and see how many will reply with different methods/suggestions/ideas/information etc. to a question that is raised and not been addressed numerous times, or as pointed out in this thread, can be answered simply by looking in your hand book.
When a question that can be answered by typing it into the search function (please humour me by searching 'reset service' yourself and allow me to prove my point) is posed, then the OP gets his knickers in a knot when the bleeding obvious is pointed out to him, he/she needs to expect members to retort in an unfavourable way.
All you people are quick to put people down but how about trying to solve peoples problems??
I posted a question about a 'left lean bank' SVS alarm and only got 2 replies! How about putting your wise remarks to good use and find a solution to that one hey??
Your Holden Dealer has already told you why the alarm is going off. So no point trying to pretend we are smarter than a qualified technician. All you have asked is if anyone has had this problem and if so what solution they found. Obviously no one has, hence the lack of replies.
You newbies are too feisty and need to learn your place on a forum![]()

....and this is why i never ask questions. you never know if your asking a stupid question until blasted for it
