Chances are the window runners have gone hard or the door is out of alignment. Which windows are rattling?

my driver's side window is rattling too...
at least it sounds like the window, the rattle is coming from the front door keyhole area (lower right corner of drivers side window)...
the door may be slightly out of alignment (sagged) as when i close the door i can feel it liftin a bit when the hook hits the latch... what effect does this have on window rattle?...

so does the door need to be adjusted before fixing the rattle? or are they two seperate issues....

    thanking you in advance.....

ive had this issue recently, noticeable when driving over bumps... and would shit me to tears.. could also elbow the inner door panel and get the rattle sound

found it to be the electric window assembly that is pop rivited into the door had come loose...
so i drilled out the pop rivets and bolted the assembly into place...

6mm diameter bolts, with flat washers and nyloc nuts
    its perfect now

I agree, the little plastic window runners might need to be changed . one if mine didi it due to the plastic breaking and causing the metal lug that holds the runner on to rattle against the window .

Our VZ is the same - quick flick of the window down and up normally fixes it.

take the door trim off, and operate the window up and down
and watch the window assembly and the pop rivits... its only slight but enough...

    swear by it

THe rattle was getting worse, patients thin, radio louder.
So today undid the door trim, and inner plastic. Watched window go up and down a thosand times, Door open and closed a thosand times. Sat inside, stood out side and then did the following.

Packed all runner which seem to be in good condition with greese.
Then did as ImpulsesV6 said drilled out the 2 centre pop rivets for the motor.
Only one at a time then installed 1/4" bolt , spring washers x2 to be sure and a lock nut.
Then did the top one of the two , a bit tight to get into it but used the large front hole to get my arm in there and use the spanner all tightened up all back together close door open door close door open close perfect.
