Hi all,
i am having holden commodore(Lumina) LTZ 2005 model. when car is parked at unsmooth road and i shift the gear from P to D, it comes a message "hill descent control OFF" for a while. I want to know what is this message and when this function is active. As i know, it controls speed while going down a hill, but i tried to go down a hill it did not work, means i had to apply brakes to control my car. Secondly can i find a user manuals on internet in PDF format. Please help me.

i thought it was normal to use your brake to slow down? Oh well news to me
Life starts at 200km/h
its definatelty a fault, hill decent was only optioned on AWD models like Cross 6/Cross 8 Crewmans and Adventras as it uses the different braking system to slow the vehicle down.
Oh, and it doesnt come on at start up, you need to be moving and manually activate it![]()
