    Default vz lightbulbs

    Hi guys,

Could anybody please tell me the brightest headlight bulbs for a vz exec? Whatevers in there now will be standard.

I'm not after colours or led's, just normal bulbs but with a nice and strong beam.

    Thanks

    Shady

You can install higher wattage H4 bulbs if you want.
Might affect the longevity of the reflector though.
If you want to retain the current wattages.
Go for the premium Philips range. Be prepared to pay
    decent money though.
    I'm not afraid.

If you don't want to spend big on the Philips globes, just go to Supercheap or the likes and get a set of the super bright globes they sell there... I think Supercheap sell a brand called Calaber. They're much whiter than your standard globes and look a fair bit better. I think the H4's are around $30 a pair so not too dear.

Don't increase the wattage of your lights without increasing the capacity of the wiring. Holden, like most other manufacturers only install wiring suitable for the globes they install at the time of vehicle assembly. Also increased output WILL eventually burn your reflectors and cause the lenses to go yellow.

^^ Not to mention short circuit & melting of wires.
