VZ Exec modification ideas... Help
G'day, i own a VZ silver exec its all stock.
Just want to get some ideas for some exterior modifications to do to the car.
I have $1,000 to play with.
help is much appreciated
Just lost the game.
That's pretty much the cost of a decent set of rims with some low end tires... If you wanted look PLUS some better handling, lower it (This won't cost the whole 1k). You might get a second hand skirt kit, painted, for that price if you're lucky? But a kit would look crap with hup caps...

Exterior Modifications for a $1000..
- $10 - get those silver sindscreen wipers and blades
- $5 - Silver Wheels Caps
- $30 - Black neon lights for the front grill
- $100 - Chevy Grill cuz alloytecs are chevs!
- $115 - DBA slotted rotors (PIMP)
- $30 - 10m Roll of Window tint from SuperCrap
- $30 - Window squirters (Chrome with Blue lights)
- $300 - Rear Wing from Autobarn to kerep your car from taking off
- $60- fully awesome Canon Exhaust from supercheap
$620 and you have yourself a VZ Ricemobile..
Lol nah seriously Lowered, Tinted Windows, Exhaust, you should still have some cash to buy Holden floor mats and a thing of car wash..
look into removing the ugly black strips or get the colour coded to match the car. and change head lights to SS/Calais

Why would he bother getting a tune when he hasnt even done the zorst yet? it would throw it all out and require a retune when he changes the zorst

That's if he is even planning on an exhaust. I don't have an exhaust but do i have a VCM tune. This way i get more power and no attention from the cops for a loud exhaust.

Mate put the money and a bit more to get some decent rims and good tyres, then probably do the other stuff in stages, coz u can do a lot to make it look better..but then again you have to look at your finances as well..good luck!!!

Tis hard with a $1k budget..... I think I've spent like $10,000 on my exec so far.......... still got to change my diff yet........ so I can pump more power without breakin stuff

I was thinking about darkest legal tint, second hand VZ SS rims and tires, lowering it and then debadging the exec and commodore badges off the back, and tinting the tail lights. would that be below 1K ?
With victoria's laws i cant get an exhaust
Has anyone tinted there tailights? does it look any good?

Yeh mate, P platers cannot make any performance enhancing modifications due to the new rules introduced in 2007

just outta curioisty to people who have a canon from autobarn/supercheap on their commodores, hows it sound? i put a canon on my old 96 camry, n it roared really loud even though it was V4. so im worried about putting it on a V6?

dude i have the same car color and everything, i started out like this, the first thing i did to mine was the bodykit it cost quite a bit but you can find good exterior mods on ebay.

he said $1000, he wont get a clubby kit in good nick painted and fitter for that.. possibly try an SS/SV6 kit, i reckon they do it a lot of justice, SS lights and away ya go!

FYI, you would be looking at around the $1000 mark just to have a full clubby kit all painted up
