Thats already a v8. You will never get a 6 to sound like an 8

Basically, you can have a nice sounding 6 but you wont get the v8 type rumble or note. Have a listen to monaro327's exhaust, i think its the best sounding v6 ive ever heard

good luck getting a nice note out of an alloytec, its to easy to make them sound like a jap ricer than meaty note, even the standard v8 exhaust on mine sounds raspy and gross

You'll never get an alloytec sounding like a V8. This is the best alloytec exhaust i've heard though:

YouTube - ve sv6 new exhaust

Most sound terrible but that one is alright. Its a VE, but same engine. You can here in this one, which is also a VE using an x force system, that it still doesn't hide the blender noise an alloytec makes at high revs, but down low it can still make an ok sound:

best case scenario go down to sureflow in ingleburn and ask for a 2.5 inch catback, its the best sound you can get out of a alloytec v6, sounds sweet when you punch it on motorways or on cold days.

Ah. Whoops. My apologies as I didn't realise it belonged to a forum member

Definitely nothing against the car (I have a VN after all ), just I prefer the Xforce exhaust.

    ... Soo, hows that weather?

dont go to over the top with the exhaust i made this mistake it cost me a shitload and ended up sounding like a mack truck running a suzuki 3 cylinder engine now i have a simple old 2.5" cat back system with a couple of outlaw hiflo cats will never sound like a v8 but sure beats the factory whisper
