    Default Someone install a vacuum and volt gauge for me

    Guys I'm desperately looking for someone to install a vacuum gauge and volt gauge in my vz.. I will pay for the work done

    if you drive to nowra, im sure i could do that, what products have you got there?

    if you get a workshop to install it, they shouldnt charge anymore than an hours labour to do that though

    hey guys, i was just fiddling around in my engine bay to see if i could find this vacuum intake thing, whatever its called. i uploaded this photo with a white rectangle box around what i think is what i need to connect it too. can someone confirm it for me please?

    thats a one way valve, it stops the motor sucking air back into the motor as such, you can buy a 1/4 inch t piece and place it BEFORE the valve, so between the valve and motor

    im pretty sure it uses 1/4 inch hose there, then buy a length of hose and run it to the guage through the firewall plug

    so just to clarify, thats the right hose? and so i place the t piece in other words closer to the engine before that round thing?

    Out of curiousity, how are you mounting the gauges in the car? Are you getting the SS style pod housing which sits above the air con center console or A bar?

    I cannot confirm if that's the right pipe to intercept but this info would help me too. Volt gauge is a piece of piss to install. Wire it up through your accessories point. They draw practically no current.

    yes, if you place it after the valve you wont get manifold vacuum, on the stored vaccum
