hey guys. from allll the dozens of posts ive read let me see if ive got this right!
ive got an 05 vz berlina with 20's (225/35/20)
i want to lower it a little...
SO ill need:
King Springs SL rear
King Springs L front
Rear camber kit
Rolled rear guards
that sound right??
any thoughts on stuff or suggestions?? i dont wana be chewing 20" tyres ay
cheers
not really, peddars lowering spring all round, dont need a camber kit, it can be slightly adjusted.. and depends how low you want if u need the gaurds rolled

any idea wat its worth to let pedders do it?
a fair bit mate, they usually charge through the teeth.
yeh thought so. i know they quoted 2100 to replace the suspension in my 2001 tj magna....just under half of the value of the car LOL.
$750 in labour alone
I've found Pedders to be extremely reasonable? By far the best suspension joint in my city..
i'm in canberra and its pretty bad.. they charge $190 to swap rear springs lol
hmm anyone know what brissy prices are like??
any tyre shop can do it! Jax quickfit did mine.. $500 all four corners including bushed and wheel alignment.. plus they readjusted my camber for me

Seams like the prices vary alot lol..
so have u got 20's also??? how low did u go
19's i think it dropped about 2 inches.. just tucking the rear and on the front..
heres a pic

nice.. i had a tiny bit of scrub which i rolled myself.. (lowered the car onto some pipe off jack) was only bout 1cm though otherwise no scrub, tread wears evenly after the camber was adjusted..

Looks great! You'll only have to lower it a few inches to get it sitting sweet.
so SL rear u think??? or L??
Which is exactly the point of my post...
COMMODORE & MONARO ADJUSTABLE REAR CAMBER KIT VZ ..NEW - eBay, Other Car Parts, Accessories, Car Parts, Accessories, Cars, Bikes, Boats. (end time 27-Aug-09 10:41:26 AEST)
this would be all i need..
i see the k-mac ones but they seem a little extreme. this would handle SSL wouldnt it?
and is SSL still legal? in height and drop?
As i said before, camber kits arent neccesary on these as the rears are adjustable to a certain extent anywayz.. although i do suggest getting a wheel alignment after a few Km's as the wheels will sit differently after the springs settle..

okay sorry, 'About' 2 inches.. i didnt get a ruler out and measure it.. i also have 245 R19's.. before you get the guards rolled find out where it scrubs ie lower it, then do a test drive, usually it will wear on the guard where it needs to be rolled, depending how much, do what i did
