just wondring i bought a new headunit and wondering what i should connect the ground wire to so i can get the best reception ?? coz its pissin me off lol ,
also the remote wire for the rca's connects to a white and blue wire its an aftermarket plug ?? dose this sound right ?
thanks alot
reception will mainly depend on your antenna, the only difference the grounding location will make is engine and alternator interference and buzzing noises through your speakers. with a new head deck, i suggest grounding to a new location on your chassis and make the wiring as short as possible. you could consider a fm radio expander as well if the problem doesnt go away
the remote wire is normaly for an amp so it shouldnt be wired to anything eles
if u got a amp in the boot, if u got the power cables and rca's down the same side of the car that'll effect everything sound wise........... if it's just the radio for the headunit......... as long as u got the converter plug etc.......... then it should be ok. it is a little crappy, suggestions would be to sheild everything........
Heatshrink, electrical table the radio plug etc......... also (since I've changed my headunit 3 times) some head units are just crap.........

Did you have to use an adaptor for the antenna?
I'm not afraid.
Yeh, you have to get a euro adapter for the antenna. Ive heard a few people having problems with the vz's and reception, myself included, i havent tested how to fix it coz i hardly listen to radion. What bigdaddycool has suggested would be a good starting point
