Did you remove the driver's airbag to
check the s/wheel button wiring.
Then turn ignition on without airbag
connected?
This will give an SRS fault which will
need to be reset via OBD2 port.
Can't help with the audio controls.
I'm not afraid.
No i didnt remove the airbag at all! How do i clear the fault? like can i do this personally? Whats the OBD2 port? anyone else have any ideas on this problem please!
Ok i think i worked out one of my problems! When i put the new head unit in, there were two codes written down... I am guessing i entered the wrong code and the head unit only half activated! Is there a way to clear the code off the head unit so as to enter in the other???? Please help!
Maybe if you disconect the battery it will wipe out the old code then you can enter the new one
there are three types of people in the world , those who can count and those who can't
I tried diconnecting the battery and removing the head unit and also resetting the pcm???
Ok guys dont worry bout the SRS thing i am getting it reset at Holden tomorrow! What i really need is help sorting out the steering wheel controls for my stock head unit! Please help!
