i'd like to make it clear i am not a hoon.
Recently i was told on this site about the ant abuse stuff in VZ 175KW engines now i'm thinking that anti abuse device probably gets its throttle reading from the throttle positioning sensor, is that right?
so nobody knows?
why do you ask?
multiple of things, rpm, load, tps, gear...
i was thinking that if i was to disconcect the throttle position sensor (tps) , then the ecu wouldn't able to tell whether i was on the throttle while on the brake and there for, not interfere
there is no TPS as such, its fly by wire, any tampering with the wiring will fault the system.
not a clever idea
the major of the anti abuse comes from engine load which is measured by the MAF. but unplugging the MAF will put the car in limp mode not sure how this affects power delivery.
i would take a guess saying that you can turn it off properly, if you take it to a tuner.
Yes it probably can be de-activated, that's if you're happy to drive around in permanent 'limp mode'.
you can deactivate some of the anti abuse but you'll never fully get all the torque management as it's the back bone of the bosch software.
