    Exclamation Check Powertrain Warning Light

Hi guys, I have a vz ss and just put a new full exhaust on it. Drove it about 500ks and then the "check powertrain" warning message came up. I disconnected the battery and after reconnecting the light was off then came back on not long after. Just wondering what this means, something to do with the O2 sensors? Any comments would be much appreciated, cheers.

i take it you had cats done, to get rid of the message youll need to get a tune and get the rear oxygen sensors disabled, problem is, highflow cats dont fully burn the excess fuel, or its burning is different to the standard cats, so the oxygen sensors arnt reading as its sposed to

I have a VZ SS 6L with the same problem, have taken it to numerous holden dealers and still have not fixed it. I have found out more info about this problem from people on this forum then i ever will from holdens. I have been told it requires a retune. I have learnt to deal with the warning after 12 months now, but it is still a pain in the arse. I am not sure whether the L98 6L motors have the same issue or is it just the L76 6L. Let us know if you manage to fix it, i am eager to find out.

any alloytec or v8 with the 4 oxy sensors will do it unless the factory cat converters are retained
