Ok so basically i want to dump my ute but i still want to be able to navigate speed bumps and carry a decent load (not heavy duty stuff but say for instance a lounge chair and fridge) without scrapping or rubbing.
I was thinking of going 19's with 8.5 rears and front or 9.00 rears and 8.5 fronts if that is possible?
Then run them on SSL's as rears and SL's as fronts..... Also will i need to replace the struts? I have the standard ones and i think they are too springy? If so what would you recomend for new struts to match the springs?
What do you guys reckon? Would i need to roll the rear guards? or could i get away without it? Or will SSL and SL be too low for me?
Cheers guys and gals!
be carefull with wheels..coppers can do you for load rating on tyres/wheels. Because the ute is classed as a commercial vehicle..
Sticking a Chev badge on any Commodore is like putting a Nissan badge on a VL
EOI....VE SS 18" wheels x4 with 5000k's on new tread, 2 of have very minimal gutter rash (previous owner) otherwise like new send me a pm if interested.
if you go anything lower than fe2 height or lows. id fit some MONROE GT SPORT with them,
if standard struts are used they bottom out on compression and you get that massive bang through your car and dash etc as it bottoms out
