I have already posted a thread asking about this but put in the wrong forum. I am in desperate need of a rear windscreen louvre for a VZ. I know these are not manufactured anymore but am hoping that there are still some around somewhere in Australia. If anyone could help out it would be appreciated. Thanks
Perhaps a pic of the part you are chasing will help people identify it.
Hi because Holden and Aunger dont make the rear louvre anymore I dont have a pic but it is just the black plastic external rear window louvre. They used to make them and I have seen them on commodores (not recently). I am hoping someone knows someone who has one or would know where to get one?? I have tracked one down in NZ but it is going to cost too much to freight it over here. Surely someone in Aus must have one???
I used to have one on my vt and i think its still the same part for the vz - (arl 180) try here:

How very retro of you, i thought they went out in the eighties
Does it have to be external? You may have more hope getting an internal one prehaps.
lol thanks yeah they are pretty 80s but there is no other decent form of sun protection for the back of a sedan???? The sun visor things you get from supercheap etc just fall off or dont stick at all!!! Does anyone have any ideas for shade protection on back window that is legal????
dark window tint works great, easier to see out of and looks way better

The guy at the shop told me they still make them but that was 3 years ago.

I am getting the darkest legal tint put on the car...heres hoping it looks good and helps the heat and sun glare
You can buy electrostatic mesh that adheres to the
inside of the window.
I don't know if it would adhere with window tint.
I'm not afraid.
