I have a 95 crewman 3.6l & its just turned over 50,000km's. Ive recently encountered this problem with a couple computer errors. The initial error happens when I go to start the car and a low fuel sensoer error appears disabling the car. I overcame this problem by removing the starter relay. Then when I went to start the car again a power transmission error occurs. I can still start and drive the car. To reset that error I removed the battery power lead. All ok, drives no problem for a period of time. It seems to happen when I dont turn the key over fully and do like a quick half turn. I have taken it to the Holden dealer to plug the computer in and the Mech. said there were no probs just a glitch and he did a reset. But since then its happened 3 more times.
Has anyone encountered such a problem?
howdy, cant say ive had any problems like that before, but seems a bit weird i'd maybe try another dealer and get their opinion on it. Sorry can't really help but good luck with it
i doubt many people would've had this prob cos holden didn't make a crewman in 1995
Chev badges are an instant fail
ecu or bcm faulty (educated guess) ......... also check starter earth.

if fuel guage error occurs and check powertrain etc, id be checking the PIM powertrain interface module,
this links all modules together in the can-bus system, if this breaks down. the can bus system wont communicate hence a no start situation
