    Question any1 with a cai kit from mace?

    looking at the pod setup from mace $250 cant go wrong with that.
    just wondering how they go? and if there any good?
    and how does the maf deal with it? it doesnt set of any censers?

    hey mate, yeh i got one of these about a month ago n chucked it in my vz. big improvement on induction sound, n definetly more acceleration. my oppinion. GO FOR IT!

    not hard to put in?
    just replace the air box with the new one yeah? no extra holes needed to be made?

    Ive got one on mine. No extra holes needed simple swap and replace although doesnt sound too good on the freeway but around town induction sounds tuff. Afta got it Tuned sounds all sweet on the freeway now!! Performance wise? i dunno probaly a lil but for 250 cant complain!

    yeh simple installation mate. just taking the old box off and using the stock holes to screw in the new enclosure. took me about 15 mins, but thats cause i was eating maccas with one hand haha.

    Ive got one similar to Mace with 2and a half inch catback and it definitely sounds tuff..can't be as good v8 tho.....also ive got noticeable improvement in fuel consumption figures...so i would say go for it..

    are you all using the pod that comes with the box?..SAAS im pretty sure? and how do you rate them?

    EOI....VE SS 18" wheels x4 with 5000k's on new tread, 2 of have very minimal gutter rash (previous owner) otherwise like new send me a pm if interested.

    yeah mate...iam still using the saas that came along...and no issues so far..I would say I am happy with the money spend...I ve done around 2500k's and it seems to be alright...

    Hey mate if you have around $250 to spend another mod you could consider is replacing the standard headlights with HSV/SS projector style lights.

    I was able to pickup a set for around $500 on eBay, and then sell my old ones for $240, so around $250 changeover price.

    Depends on what you're after but id rather go the headlights than CAI which gets minimal gains IMO.

    not for $500 bucks. id rather spend half of that and get minimal gains then to get nothing from a set of headlights.

    how big is the pod opening? has any1 had to replace it yet?
