steering wheel controls issue

hey people,
I currently drive a VZ SV6,
recently ive just bought new steering wheel controls for the volume etc. but today Ive visited my auto electrician and he said they wont fit because of the manual triggers on the back of the steering wheel.
Do I have to buy specific controls that will connect with the manual triggers?
Any help will be much appreciated

Yep you need to get the steering wheel controls with the harness that leads to the Gear change paddles on the wheel. The regular executive/berlina controls dont have this harness. You need to get the SV6 A5 controls.

You can get them from Holden. I just got mine for 100 bucks. I got Phreddy to install it.
