im doing it at the moment, ill let you know how it goes,

it is expensive though, so id say, unless you need a wagon like me, just sell it and buy an sv6, cause the cost involved in a sedan wouldnt justify it i dont believe

I want to do my 2003 vy acclaim but im not sure if they are the same. I live in mount annan in sydney and my mechanic said $1500 for labor if i supply the parts, but i have no idea what parts are needed.
Ummm i would say that if you get the parts second hand and work it out yourself then it might work better than getting a mechanic to do it. there are cheap gearboxes around but you need to find them first.
    cheers, jake.
Please let me know if i am wrong at all. I really only go off what the mechanics tell me.
