vz 175 exhaust

Hi all, i've been looking at replacing the stock pipes on my vz.

heard that a dual 2 1/4 into cat back is good with little drone.

would like to know what people have on the 175's and what sounds best.

not looking for an expensive system, just want an exhaust that i wont regret for sounding like a 4cyl

the blokes who did my exhaust said a single pipe doesnt work for an alloytec...now that may be total crap and i just believed them, subsequently buying a more expensive system haha. but i dunno, i think it sounds gd =) esp. after it warms up

cheers mate, sounds rather high pitched but ay, ecotecs sound lots better with this same exhaust

yeah, i've heard that they dont get enough back flow. hence the double pipe. but ive been recommended a twin 2 1/4 inch. from the middle muffler is yours just singe 2 1/2 then split after the muffler or does it go twin all the pay to the tips?

twin 2.5" the whole way through, never meets in the middle (im fairly sure)

i do believe you can buy a second hand V8 exhaust system off ebay or the like, and whack that on.
will save u $$. but hey, its a V6, will never have that beefy V8 sound we all love.

but are the v8 exhausts off ebay stock, or are they just a 2 1/2 pipe, had a look the other day, didn't see much.
