Got a couple of questions:
1. There are 2 aerial leads that connect to the stock headunit. When I connected my Alpine I hooked it up to the white lead and FM works fine but not AM. Is this coz one lead is FM and one is AM? In which case how do you got both working with an aftermarket unit which one has one aerial input?
2. Are 6 x 9s a straight fit into a VZ Calais parcel shelf, in place of the existing stock subs? Or do they require a spacer or something?
3. I want to upgrade my speakers in my VZ Calais. I'm not going to amp anything. I'm planning to run 6.5" splits at the front but can't decide whether to run 6.5" coaxs in the rear doors, or 6 x 9s on the parcel shelf? I'm thinking if I'm not amping and not putting in a sub, then the 6 x 9s would be the way to go?
*bump* Anyone?
i think i recall phreddy telling me that one is for the one at the front and the other is in the rear window
i *think* the holes are 6x9 size, not sure about a spacer, i put splits in my rear doors and the tweeters sit behind the headrests.
