    Default 5spd to 6spd

I would like opinions on this please.
I want to change from auto to manual.

    1.) is it possible
2.) has anyone here done this?

and roughly what $$ would i be looking at.

hope someone can give me some pointers.

and yes i know, use active select and i do use it but id rather the manual.
and would i need to change the stearing wheel aswell or can you just disable to active select.

    let us know.
    thanks

yes its possible, i don't know anyone personally thats done it but there surely would be someone.

    $$$ - not sure

and you can keep your steering wheel.

haha money, yeah not going to go into that subject, LOL

the wiring harness on the 5sp autos is different under the dash,so i guess yes it can be done, but it would require a lot more effort and money,

4sp auto and 6sp manual share the same harness

1430 for h/d clutch and solid flywheel

    860 for tail shaft

probably another 400 in other parts

i got my gearbox and all conversion parts for 1500 which is cheap, wreckers want anything from 3-4k, but you have to add clutch, which is anything from 1500 - 2500, i get special prices, the one i got normally retails for 2100,

possibly tailshaft depending on the wheelbase the box came out of,

i have a manual sedan tailshaft sitting here if you want to buy it...

the 4sp auto tailshaft cant be split, it was too much trouble getting something made up and could possibly create problems, so i bit the bullit and bought a new one

In view of the longer wheelbase on the wagons, which tailshaft did you have to buy? What has a manual and the long wheelbase - Crewman?
