Does anyone know why there is a "cutout"
and a "void" cast into the Alloytec plenum?
I would guess it is purely for symetrical asthetics.
Feng shui anyone?
This would hopefully put to rest any arguments
which are brewing between members.
What say you?
I'm not afraid.
the extra hole is for access to the lower intake manifold bolt,
if you wanted to, you could take that bolt out, take the other 5 bolts out on top of the motor, leave the very back bolt in, and lift the entire inlet manifold off it.. i believe

i think there's some magical liquid which you can pour in there, which makes the motor grow 2 more cylinders...
But on the topic of asthetics, the holes arent exactly in the middle of the manifold, or it might just be the picture
