If you continue to 'floor it really hard' from the traffic lights, you won't have to worry about the condition of your car 'cause if your spotted you will get done for hoon driving and probably lose your wheels for PERIOD. As for the noises, probably your transmission on the way out - due to abuse you've dished out to it.

Can you describe the noise a bit better?
    Where is coming from?
Or go to Holden/mechanic and at least get a diagnosis
    I'm not afraid.

Just sounds like some belt slip, I know a few vz's that the belt slips going into 2nd, get some belt grip spray from repco/autobarn/bursons etc. spray it over ur belt an ur all good to go.

    Cheers

as i said, fanbelt slip, it happens on a lot of vz's i've seen/been in. spray some belt grip on it, an she's all good.

serpentine belt slip. caused by an inetria effect on the water pump when the revs change quickly,

the water pump slips under the belt causing the screech,

no real great fix, its mainly because of the amount of belt cover on the pulley,
