    Default spring question

    hey guys i was wondering how interchangeable springs are between models aS I have some springs from my vs (which has IRS) sitting in my shed and was wondering if the will go in my vz??

    also are shocks interchangeable as i have near new pedders front and rear shocks i could use?

    the springs would fit, would probably make the car sit lower though as the weighting isnt the same

    same with shocks, could fit, but may not work as good as they should

    hmm well the VS is a V8 how much weight difference is there?

    good point i just wanna make sure it will be safe at the end of the day also i have adjustable rear camber on the VS but i havent seen if the VZ is adjustable or not does anybody know if they are adjustable from factory?

    Yeh if you dont care about ride quality that much you should be right. i'm pretty sure the spring rate is be different affecting height and ride.

    does anybody know if the camber in the rear is adjustable???
    EDIT: after some research i see it is adjustable from factory is it worth getting the kit to do the outter 2 pivots to make it fully adjustable?

    Toe is adjustable as standard.
    As for camber kits.
    Depends who you speak to as to their effectiveness.

    i put super super lows in my vz and the shop did a wheel allignment at the same time..sits alright not much camber untill you get a bit of weight in the back.
    Sticking a Chev badge on any Commodore is like putting a Nissan badge on a VL

    EOI....VE SS 18" wheels x4 with 5000k's on new tread, 2 of have very minimal gutter rash (previous owner) otherwise like new send me a pm if interested.

    yeah if you have the ability wack them in and try for a while at least it hasnt cost anything extra to date

    i put them in yesterday the front struts are different so i just used the front springs from the vs the rear shocks and springs were the same it sits and rides nice now
