Default VE wheels on a VZ crewman

Hi, im looking at fitting some 18" wheels on my 2007 VZ crewman,
Do VE commodore wheels bolt straight up??
ive seen a lot of nice ones for sale,,
Or are there some mods to be done to make them fit?

nope, the hubs on a ve are different to a vz. in saying that its not impossible to be wearing ve wheels on a vz. the hubs on the ve wheels need to be machined off so they fit a vz. prob set ya back about $50?? ive never got it done before so i dont know the exact $

    $100 for all 4 wheels sounds o.k.
so do they just want the rims or can you leave the tyres on?
And what machining is done?? Since a lot of wheels have a clear coat laquer applied, do you need to re-spray that once the jobs done?? to stop the rest peeling off??
Are the wheel lug holes enlarged? or sleeved smaller?
And how much material is removed from the centre hub area for the wheel to slide over??

who can l call in the west of melbourne for a chat about having this done??

can you legally put them on with the weight restrictions? I've been talking to the guys at bob jane and they said I've got bugger all choice to swap mine over (in 16's I only had a choice of three different rims that would meet weight requirements). I've got a bent rim and they couldn't even replace it with anything they had in store and told me it would be a month before they could get anything in cause they are the highest rating and hard to get.

ute's and crewmans and hard to put aftermarket wheels on legally, because they are classed as a comercial vehicle there is tougher load ratings on the wheels and tyres. I know a few mates with vu's and stuff get done by the police when pulled over because of it.
Sticking a Chev badge on any Commodore is like putting a Nissan badge on a VL

EOI....VE SS 18" wheels x4 with 5000k's on new tread, 2 of have very minimal gutter rash (previous owner) otherwise like new send me a pm if interested.
