Paint coming off door handles

Is this a common problem. And what is the best solution apart from taking them out and repainting only to have it happen again.

Common yep, I bought some touch up paint for mine but it flakes off eventually with the highpressure at the carwash. Gotta get them painted this summer, wouldnt be more than $100 I think. I got quoted that to paint my side door moulds and mirrors white (I have exec black strips)

Yeah it was common and holden resprayed them under warranty. To do it properly you need to pull them off and get them resprayed.

Yes, my SV6 has the paint coming off the driver's side door handle. My dad's VZ has the same problem on the rear passenger door handle.

mines also doing this.. iv got some touch up paint to fix it but that'll leave big dots of paint wont it??
might have to look into getting them professionally painted also..
