squealing from engine

everytime i start up my ute, theres a really weird squeal noise that comes from the engine.. i know it not the belts, but has any one else experienced this problem or does anyone have any ideas what it could be??

yeah probably ur water pump. mine ****ed up today. cars been squealing intermittently or so for a month.

i forgot to mention it only does it for about 5 seconds after start up. then its fine.. do you think it still could be a water pump?

Remove the belt and check all the accessory pulleys
for binding or noise etc.

yeah i get a similar thing, but only when its cold. on a hot day its fine.

sincy just wondering if ur car is tuned or if u do donuts on the weekends with it? ........ i've noticed mine i think is starting to go.......... but i've been tuning my car now for bout 7 months say..... and I think it's caused by the engine being ultra hot when u turn it off (not cooling enough)..... retaining the heat and stuffing the water pump?....

-Slow Process of Course- Overtime sorta thing.....
