Because of the firing order of the engine, you will NEVER get a decent exhaust sound out of an Echotec or Alloytec engine(s).

    Remember.....
any (ANY) modification(s), unless approved to ADR standards, that change/alter/modify any aspect of your vehicle from the ADR standards/requirements that existed at the time of manufacture of your vehicle are ILLEGAL.

Good luck with whatever you chose.

A lot of places do say the droning is unbearable...I've heard it on one, all I can say is "ouch my ears, you're only doin 40" lol.
Not sure if a SS or Clubby Exhaust will make a major difference because there's different engines completely attached to those.

I've got a 3" exhaust, custom built by a guy in Phrahran. Sounds sweet, and NO droning at all (except a little in overdrive gear, but still sounds nice). The system was from the cats to centre, like you're looking for.
If you're interested, PM me and I'll give you his details and the price on it.
