VZ Alloytech 2 hole mod - Ok for 190kw?

Hi Guys,

I've heard alot about these 2 hole mods you can do to the Alloytechs (http://swingtan.customer.netspace.net.au/2hole.html) but I've only heard it talked about in the context of the 175kw motor. I've got a VZ Calais with the 190kw motor, can I do the same mod? Has anybody else done the 2 hole mod to a 190kw Alloytech?

A lot of us have. Exactly the same process. Also look at the MCAI combined with the 2 hole mod. There's a lot of threads about it so I suggest you search the VZ threads for any questions. I've also written a how to with combines MCAI and 2 hole mod.

Yes you can, the airbox on both the 175 & 190 are the same.

I have a VZ Calais and I did the MCAI with the two hole mod, It is definately worth doing. Find the thread that has the MCAI part numbers and buy them from Holden, about 20 bucks if I remember rightly and a couple of hours to fit. It looks very neat and hard to tell its there when done.
