Hi Guys!
I have just recently purchased a 2005 VZ Calais, which is my new pride and joy.
My only issue is that i bought the car through a used car dealership and it did not come with an Owners manual. I have searched the threads and found that previous people have had my same issue, but the links directing me to places to download a .pdf are all dead links.
I emailed holden, as one of the suggestions was to sign-up to club holden, and they are vailable once you have a membership, however, this appears to be a dunfunkt feature of the holden website. They were entierly unhelpful, twice responding to me as to how to obtain a Workshop manual.
I simply need the manual to work out the finer points of using the trip computer and a few of the other noddy benefits of driving a calais.
Does anyone have a .pdf version of this owners manual, or know where i could easily obtain one from the internet?
Thanks guys, i am new to this.
Third column at the top:
NVU, Genuine Holden parts to suit Holden Commodore VR,VS,VT,VX,VY,VZ,Monaro,Statesman,Utes and HSV
Have you actually gone to Holden & asked for a VZ calais user manual?

i emailed an enquiry to holden.com, as i figured if they had previously had the ability to download the .pdf's through the site, then they would still have .pdf's on file. apparently, i was mistaken.
had a look at the link you supplied mate, thank you very much, no search function though. any hints to which section i should be looking in?
Cheers,
Like Paul said. Third column. TOP.
honestly, it took me three times to see that. i've had a fairly simple moment.
does this mean that there is no way i am able to track one of these down in .pdf form? incredibly upsetting...
thank you for your assitance though Danoz and Paul.
Ive never heard of these manuals being available in pdf format. Why would you want one in pdf anyway?
The manuals are about 100 or so pages & having that in A4 size in ur glovebox.
Give NVU a call & ask for Chris. He'll gladly help you out.

Just looking for a .pdf so that I could've obtained it without leaving my desk!
But you're right, that would take up a large portion of the glovebox.
I'll settle for the hard-copy though. Thanks a lot for your help mate. I appreciate it.
I just bought a 2006 Calais. Same problem - no manual. After wasting an hour on internet sites and actually calling Holden (they gave me a contact who replied they don't have the manuals) I had a brilliant thought. I called my local Holden Dealer, Col Crawford Brookvale. No worries. Paid $9.50 on Friday and it was there on Tuesday. Kev.
Holden sell owners manuals for $22.50. I recently bought one myself.
Yes - You have to order one thru any GMH dealer Parts counter, & hey presto , they get one in for you & then you hand over your hard earned bucks. & walk out with it under your arm.... Occasionally you will see one on Ebay, also ring a few wreckers , they have some of them for sale ex removed from gloveboxes of wrecked vehicles.may be in luck & have the model you want....
call up sevaral holden parts departmnts, if this one doesnt have it then try another local one.
they can usually get them in.
and like mentioned above some wreckers will have them lying around.
some off them are fairly similar like the vy or vz books.
