i have a vz equipe wth fe2 suspension that has king SL front and rear and i am looking at lifting the car back to original as it scrapes on our driveway. So the question is Whats the difference with original and fe2 springs and do i just need to fit the sorings then get an allignment?
dave
Ps i'd rather keep the SL so may need to change the driveways hehe
yeah fe2 is slighlty lower and stiffer than normal, i think the shocks might be slighlty diff to.
and pretty much just swap them and get a wheel alignment
Chev badges are an instant fail
Probably won't affect your car if you revert to standard springs but FE2 also had uprated sway bars.
thanks guys for the replies it solved a few issues. next question are vy and vz springs the same as a friends friend has a few vy parts and springs so will be able to ge them cheap.
dave
vt-vz suspension components are the same im pretty sure.
Sticking a Chev badge on any Commodore is like putting a Nissan badge on a VL
