from looking around at peoples rides, it seems that the consoles etc came in different colours?
does anyone know the paint codes? as mine is the darker silver (tempest??) i want to go to satin silver.
cheers
There are no paint codes for interior parts. Just names!
I guess ur after the setup thats in the VZ/VY SS, this is just called black & satin chrome.
The Blue One
the black and satin is known as the "steel" finish, the ordinary is know as "tempest" unsure of what the berlina and calais one is

Do any of you guys know where I can find a replacement centre console lid as found on the HSV's and Calais? A clip on mine has broken. This is the lid where the cup holders are located on othermodels.
Where? I have looked on eBay and can't find one. I'm talking about the small storage bin in the centre console near the electric window switches.
Ahhh ok I didn't read properly, I know the one you mean..
Have you tried Holden Parts?

From making those decorated parts for about 7 years, I know the colours and film pattern names pretty well.
You are right with your colour it is Dark Tempest. If the pattern of the film is like a carbon fibre it is called Cyber Carbon. there is another colour of film which is like a dark wood grain colour. It was mainly for the Berlina's (like mine) although from memory we didn't really produce many of them.
Try looking at Cubic Pacific you can see all films etc there
Hope that helps!
thanks guys, probably easy if i just paint the console parts, the wreckers parts are worse condition than mine!
Or spend abit more time looking around, your bound to find the part ur after in good nic!
