Hi,
No this isn't the typical "what exhaust should i get thread".. i've got an issue and i'm wondering if anyone can help..
I've got a 3" catback exhaust on the SS, and it sits flush with the rear bumper when it comes out (like right against it) i've noticed it's started to slightly melt the bumper due to the heat from the exhaust..
I can move the exhaust down slightly and put something between it and the bumper, but does anyone have any ideas what kind of material or anything i could put between the exhaust and bumper? If anything...
I obviously need something that isn't going to melt & stick to the exhaust lol
any ideas?
Thanks
bend the hangers so it sits central to the cutout and bend them down to get the tips away from the bumper...
Life starts at 200km/h
interesting
You can also look at getting a can of clear heat proof coating and spraying it around the exhaust cutout. Although i would suggest bending your rubber hangers down abit.
