    Default Starving of fuel

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has come across the fuel regulator on the vz packing it in. It seems when I jump straight in the car to start it up it starves of fuel. If I turn the key on and let it wait a bit (Fuel pump builds up pressure) it is ok. I think its the regulator, apparently it will cost me around $220 for a new one because it is actually part of the fuel rail and you need to buy the whole lot.

Anyones experience here would be appreciated

Had a lotta problems with the fuel tank, its calibration and the like, but never the regulator. The car always start's first up. What you're explaining almost sounds like the old carbie's. Very interesting.
    Who quoted you $220?

Have you had you fuel pressure checked?
When was your fuel filter last replaced?

The fuel pump switches off 2 seconds after ignition on signal
if the vehicle is not started.
    I'm not afraid.
