Question vz sv6 car mats

Just bought some official tailored commodore mats for my new vz sv6 from my local holden dealer. The front mats have 2 holes one left side and one right side, and plastic thingys to fix them down with. However, the car floor has only single holes in the centre and they dont line up. Was I sold the wrong mats? Or are the holes in the car floor for something else?

Yeh I think they are for something else mine came with the matts and the plastic plug in the matt seperates from the matt and attaches to the carpet somehow...

Got our floor mats in our SV6 when we brought the car. They have two plastic screws that go into the floor and the mat clips ont onto them.

One on the left and right up near the seat is where the screws are.

Hope this helps ya

I dont know why they bother, its for this reason other manufacturers like Land Rover dont put the plug in as standard, their included with the mats and just need screwing into place.

The problem is what happens if the mats, especially the genuine mats, dont like up with the plug?

Or like us, its a company car and doesnt have mats ... the plugs simply get ripped out of the floor with our feer moving about on long trips

My VY mats came with the two locating lugs. I just poked a phillips head screw driver thru the carpet and screwed the things in and hey presto. (I know it sounds kinda brutal but it isn't)

If you ask for the mats to suit a Calais.
They have the centre hole in them, which suits all 05 VZ's.

Default 2 Hole carpet mats

ok listen up its really simple. you just neet a stubby phillipshead screwdriver.

like up the front carpet mats PERFECTLY when you are prepared 2 use the screwdriver just push i until you peirce the carpet.(do this with every hole) then lift up the carpet mat and screw in the dodgy little plastic stud/screw things.

then smack the carpet mat down with your palm and your finished.

voila. thats how holden fit them.
